Saving the evidence

During everyday work it is necessary to prevent the loss of data, which can happen either by mistake of the user or the technology failure. From this reason, in the application, the function for data backup is easily available



After pressing Backup a classical dialog for saving files is displayed, eg. like in a text editor. In the name of the file there is a name of the evidence and a time code Year_Month_Day_Hour_Minute_Second for a clear orientation, which evidence and when was backed up



! IMPORTANT ! Perform the backup ideally after each work. (The files are small and don`t take almost any place on the computer disc). From this reason a created backup can be used for a data transfer between computers as well as evidences, in case the user wants to create various alternatives in case of planning

After creating the backup an informative dialogue is displayed


From the whole application a backup can be easily created using keys [Ctrl]+[S]

Restoration from backup

We will find the data restoration backup as the first item after clicking at File Load from backup After its starting, an alert dialogue will be displayed because during the restoration the data from a currently opened evidence will be overwritten by the data from the backup



To be sure, we recommend to check if the evidence which we want to restore is really opened. Its name is displayed in the upper bar of the application. (Logged in user:xy)
For the restoration it is convenient to create a new evidence (in case of a mistake) Chapter “Establishment of evidence step by step"
Possibly we can use the newly restored evidence for planning or testing various alternatives



If everything is in order we continue with the data search on the computer disc



User choose a file and after a successful restoration should see this dialogue



Záloha serveru The backup of the server will Back up a completely whole server in case of deleting the data from the disc, a server restoration is not available from the application, so the user cannot overwrite other users` evidences. During the network processing the server, which belongs to the currently running application (local), is being backed up
